How we build crowd sourced commerical Drupal themes

Designers upload professional Drupal designs for web site templates and themes.

First Join the Crowd, then you can upload a comp (or “screenshot”) of your design. Your comps will show up in “My Account” where you can keep track of them. When we are ready to convert your design to a Drupal theme the themer will contact you to arrange for deliver of the actual designs. Comps can be uploaded in jpg, jpeg, gif or png format. We build them into beautiful commercial Drupal themes for sale in the Drupal theme shop.

Now the themer transforms the design to a working Drupal theme. All themes use the same base theme and themers are free to modify it as much as needed to convert the design. Themers are hand picked “best of breed” Drupal themer/developers. As the designer you can request revisions and we encourage an iterative approach where the designer and themer are in contact throughout the theme development process.

Both designer and professional Drupal themer earn an equal share of the profits from the sale of the commercial Drupal theme.

Both designer and themer split the sale profits. AdaptiveThemes deduct 20% of the sale price for business expenses*, and the balance is split 50/50. You are paid via PayPal 7 to 10 days after each sale (we have a 7 day money back guarantee). Premium Drupal themes sell for around $80 to $400 (USD).
